When the cat gnaws
on your ankles
it can give you
quite a fright.
For she suffers
not fools gladly
and won’t give them
much delight.
Ask a question,
“What's a cat’log?”
and you're in for
quite a bite.
But she’ll treat you
as a comrade
if you ask your
question right.
