We have had several discussions of deep-fried objects; we hearken back to a food reviewer for the Post-Gazette who said of a (now defunct) fast-food shop, "If they could figure out how to deep-fry Pepsi, they'd do so".  So here is the generalization of the deep-fried things.  Unfortunately, she did not learn much from her failure with deep-fried trees-on-a-stick.
