Flounder discovers he can receive YouTube on his Holter monitor |
|
For those of you who have never worn one, a Holter monitor is a device which records an EKG for about 24 hours, allowing the doctor to spot the only-occasional prhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holter_monitoroblem. I had none.
The older monitors had cassette tapes, but the new one has a removable memory chip, and a display nearly as large as the unit (about 3" × 4"), which will actually show the EKG traces, if you know which buttons to push. I pushed the wrong buttons, and got a YouTube display (or so this cartoon claims...)
