Little Gray Cat and Flounder plan on a Mahlerian experience but due to a Slight Typographical Error get a Malarial experience instead

In the 2008-2009 season, the Pittsburgh Symphony is doing several Mahler symphonies, and a noted Mahler scholar gave a pre-concert lecture (very informative).  But he did refer to having a "Mahlerian experience" which we both reacted to as "malarial experience".  This is the result.

We think this may be a rehearsal for Mahler's long-lost "Concerto in A^b for plasmodium and orchestra".  I have been unable to find any example of the plasmodium to illustrate this, but I believe it is something like a harmonium, played by a mosquito.
