Little Gray Cat expected a farm market, but finds a peachelope ranch instead

As I was driving through Maryland one fall day, I saw a sign that looked much like the one above; apparently there had been no space to put the "S" in "Peaches" so the concept of a peachelope was born.  What are the front two doing?
